# Privacy

The short version: what you do here stays on your device.

## Your tools stay in your browser

The timers, breathing pacers and grounding exercise run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, choose or time is sent to us or anyone else. Notes you type in the 5-4-3-2-1 exercise are kept only on the open page and vanish when you close or reload it.

## What is stored on your device

The site keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage so they are ready next time: your colour theme, the count and session length of each breathing timer, your custom rhythm and the calm-down timer's length and cue settings. They never leave your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

## Page view counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type, choose or time in the tools.

## Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see [Cloudflare's privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).

## Sound, vibration and the screen

Tones are generated on your device. Vibration and keeping the screen awake use your browser's own features, only while a session runs. The site never asks for your microphone, camera or location.
